This classic styled wedding session has literally been in the works for over a year guys, and I am SO excited to finally share this blog! Last summer I went to tour Knotting Hills while it was still just a concept on paper and I knew that it was going to be a special place. So special in fact that we actually booked our vow renewal here! Knotting Hills was designed so meticulously, and when you tour it you can tell that every detail was given so much thought. From the bridal stone house to the white reception hall and the groom’s arcade room, this wedding venue has it all!
Julianna & Tyler
Juliana and Tyler actually celebrated their wedding anniversary shortly after this session. Like Zack and I, they didn’t get to have professional wedding portraits when they got married so they were really excited to participate in this photoshoot! It was hot and we were all sweaty messes, but they were such troopers! They stayed for the whole day, and even let us do a mock sparkler exit before they went home! I love when we have the opportunity to provide wedding portraits to a couple that doesn’t have beautiful photos of their big day.
Katlyn & Ryan
Katlyn and Ryan actually got married at Knotting Hills back in May of this year, but had wanted more husband and wife portraits. So, when Katlyn saw the manager of Knotting Hills share one of my posts she reached out and asked if they could model and of course we said “YES!” with all the heart eyes! These two were such a joy to be around, and I’m so happy they were able to participate!
Olivia & Pepper
Olivia and Pepper were recently engaged (YAY THEM!) so this was basically a practice run for them lol! They were so dang cute though, and we can’t wait to see photos from their real wedding!!
Kendra
Kendra is a close friend to one of our Creative team members, and we were so excited to have her model for us! She is so beautiful, and so enjoyable to be around!
Vendors
Knotting Hills was the host of this styled session, and is one of our preferred venues! We absolutely love shooting here! The venue itself is stunning down to the last detail, and the staff is so sweet! Signature Bridal is another one of our preferred vendors, and they provided the gorgeous gowns our brides wore for this session, aren’t they stunning?! Farmgirl Floral Boutique provided the beautiful florals for this session, Jim’s Formalwear provided the dapper looking suits, and Made with Love Lauren provided gorgeous, handmade clay jewelry!! Something Bleau designed beautiful table-scapes for our team, and Eye Candy Confetti provided unique name place settings! For hair and makeup we had some help from a few awesome artists! Taryn Schulte provided hair and makeup for Julianna, Katie Diestelkamp provided services for Katlyn, and Hope helped with Olivia! Last but not least, our food items were provided by two more of our preferred vendors! Stacy’s Confectionery Stations provided a pretzel wall, and some yummy dipping sauces!! While Ali Donielle Cake Designs created a gorgeous cake for us!
